I invite all for the National Seminar on Civil rights!

I would like to invite you all for the National Seminar on "The Scope and Extent of Civil rights Organisations" on 30th January 2010, Saturday, at IKSA Center at Egmore, Chennai. The seminar will start at 10 am and conclude at 6 pm.

The seminar was organised by People's Union for Human Rights (PUHR) and Federation for People's Rights (FPR) jointly. 

I am presiding the first session. Noted writer and human rights activist Mr. A. Marx, president of PUHR, welcoming the gatherings and delivering the introductory note about the seminar. The senior activist and left oriented writer Mr. S. V. Rajadurai is delivering the key note address.

The main speakers of the seminar are Kavitha Srivatsava, PUCL, Rajasthan, V. S. Krishna, HRF, Hyderabad, Apoorvanand, Delhi University, New Delhi, Satya Sivaraman, Columnist, New Delhi and Nagari Babiah, PDF, Bangaluru.

The second session will be presided by Advocate Rajini, PUHR, Madurai, key note address by Praba. Kalvimani and the main speakers are K. Kesavan, CPCL, Madurai, A.S. Abdul Kader, NCHRO, Madurai, P. Pugazendhi, TPRF, Chennai.

The third session will be an open session. The participants are welcome to express their views and discuss the issues raised in the seminar.
